Has there been any thunder from that cloud?

There has indeed, lots. Though it's passed by now and my wife is reporting that there is thunder and hail where she works in Rye. So if you're that way, grab your cameras!

Fantastic video! There were some really great shots on the local news tonight, both BBC and meridian. It looks like it was a waterspout at times :D

Note to self: Take camera to work from now on so I don't have to rely on my mobile camera!

Was down Bexhill sea front when this storm started. Two adults and four kids in one steamed up car. Opened the window and saw the funnel cloud! We all got out and watched it develop. We could see where it entered the sea!! It didn't last long but was quite amazing to watch.

Some of you guys in here don't realise how lucky you are!

The only storms I have had this year consisted of just a few rumbles of thunder.sad.png

I spend quite a lot of time down with friends just outside Hastings these days, and I tipped them off regarding the potential earlier this week, thanks to the excellent posts by the likes of Nick F and others.

I have spent many an hour along the seafronts at Hastings, St Leonards and Bexhill, as well as The Firehills in Fairlight which offer some of the best English Channel views bar none. Needless to say my friends missed this spectacle which I would have given my right arm to witness, never mind film or photograph !! Well done to those who were to see it.
