6C and dropping here in Torrance, there is a potential for snow in Scotland between now and Thursday. http://news.bbc.co.uk/weather/forecast/6 Check out 1600hrs on the map - it shows snow for the hills. Any settlement quite high up, away from cities and north/south of Glasgow and Edinburgh could be in luck for some snow. I'll keen an eye out for my first October snowfall.

Nothing here, but the Scottish Highlands have had a dusting overnight. The Pennines are expecting a bit tonight - I would be shocked if the Lak-E district did not see any by tomorrow.
