I went to the Depeche Mode bar in Tallin in September. What a nostalgia trip that was. If you are in Tallin please go it's totally whacky just wall to wall Depeche Mode and music. The band have visited the bar on tour and there are good pictures of them.

My favourite band at the moment are Muse also fantastic live. Their last album is just awesome after a few listens.

Historically it's got to be:

The Smiths , Talk Talk, The Icicle Works, Steely Dan, The Beatles, Japan, The proclaimers,OMD,Simple Minds.

I went to see Ian MCnabb of the Icicle works a few years back genious!

Jimmy Eat World are a band that have probably affected me the most. Right now, I'm a big fan of a Chicago band, I Fight Dragons. They're a rock band who use old console controllers and such to create sounds that compliment the music. They also have some amazing harmonies, and they still play 'proper' instruments. I'll always have a soft spot for the Foo Fighters, as they were the first band I was obsessive with. To add to those, The Beatles, Oasis, Kasabian, Radiohead...
