Clear and with a slight breeze, 12C as sunset passes.

Could be a cool one tonight if cloud cover stays away and isobars slacken as progged. Thursday morning looks a better bet though - 7C in London, 4-6C in southern rural areas, 5-7C in Northern urban areas and a touch of ground frost in Northern valleys and hollows with a chance of a touch of frost on the glens.

Glorious so far this morning with sunshine from 07.30 after a line of Altocumulus moved across * .

Cumulus and wind increasing now with a trough approx 60 miles West due toi bring showers/rain by early afternoon.

15.1c, 74% humidity.

* = Did anyone else notice from the satellite and watching the sky that a narrow, long line of Altocumulus moved right across the

country this morning?

That thin long band of Altocumulus has just moved through and is now east of Canterbury.

One heavy shower this morning but short and sweet. Plenty of blue sky for second day running and wind dropped for a while until reinvogorating at about 3.00 p.m. About 17C but still strong sun allowing this to be one of the nicest in ages. At least September is doing what it's supposed to. happy.png
