Kelly Catlin: Three-time world track champion dies aged 23

Three-time world champion and Olympic silver medallist Kelly Catlin has died aged 23, USA Cycling has confirmed. Catlin won three straight team pursuit world titles on the track from 2016 to 2018, claiming silver in the same event at the Rio 2016 Games

A shame. Froome gets a lot of criticism. Those making such comments probably could not ride a bike to the end of the road. Too many arm chair experts.

Chris Froome is in intensive care after his high speed crash yesterday after taking his hand off his handlebars to blow his nose.

Froome was airlifted to the Saint-Etienne University Hospital after hitting at wall at a speed of around 33mph

Initial surgery is said to have gone well and it doesn't look like he's sustained any head injuries

The first UCI Road World Championships to be held in Britain since 1982 will be shown live on the BBC later this month

Coverage begins on September 22nd and runs through until September 29th

Selected races will be live on BBC 2 with coverage also on the red button, connected TVs, BBC Sport website and app

Just admire that some can try and exceed physical excellence.
