Max temp here was 13.8C which is extremely low for August. Did anyone else experience a similar temperature or maybe lower? Looking back at my location archive for temperatures the lowest since 1998 was 15.2C so it seems quite rare.

A max' of 12.4c here on the 26th which, although low for August, is not exceptional. There was a max' of 11.9c on the 26th August 2010 and 10.9c on the 28th in 2003.

The record low max' for the month here is 10.5c on the 22nd in 1993 and there have been 6 Augusts with a max' lower than 12c in the last 34 years.

There was a max temp of 14.6C here, which is the lowest since 6th August 2001 when it reached only 14.0C.

It was far warmer than the record August low max though which is 11.9C set on 27th August 1986.

A pretty brief max of 15.3C here with it being below 14C most of the day, due to cloud lingering from some heavy morning rain.

On the 18th though we had a day max of 14.3C briefly with it being below 14C much of the day (the highest that day was actually 14.4C at 5:30am!).

The 18th July also had a very cool max of 14.9C with it being cloudy all day with drizzle at times. So some notably cool days here this summer.

Cheers
