A mostly cloud but dry start to the day. Just before 12, a band of rain pushed in from the west giving some moderate rain for around 30 minutes. But since then it has been dry with some decent sunny spells. Temps around 17c and breezier so not felling as warm as recent days.

Here in Paris after a cloudy start and a low of 16.2C some short sunny spells developing around midday becoming larger and then mostly sunny with some clouds

was feeling nice under sunshine.Nice day after the heat of last few days.

with 23.7C top temp just after 5 pm local time it is coolest since the 14th august hottest day of august :21st with 33.2C . coolest day was on the 9th with 19.7c

After a dry and mainly sunny start to the afternoon cloud increased from the west from 1400 g.m.t and eventually brought one or two brief showers from 1600 g.m.t. The showers were fairly insignificant until 1745 when there was a moderate one accompanied by a few strong gusts of wind.

Good start and clearer skies remained until early afternoon allowing a pretty good rise in temperature to about 19/20C. Very heavy clouds appeared laters and at 5.30 Bridgwater had a cloudburst. Clouds reamined heavy and temperature dropped quickly and has remained low at about 14/15C. Localised rain as it did not appear near Somerton despite threatening to.
