A grey morning, but a nice bright afternoon with no rain whatsoever until a few spits after sunset. Sorry forecasters, wrong again...

It had been a wet day and this morning the showers were pretty heavy - this evening we were seeing family off and there was, what i will call, a mini convective eruption just to the east of town. by the time i grabbed my camera and set off i had missed the boat slightly. I saw some pretty amazing photo shots but nowhere to pull over so by the time i got into the hills it had moved on. so just a few photos to show.
