Passed the 750mm rain mark yesterday when we ended up with 17mm during the day. Currently it's 17º, bright and might be an ok day.

Going camping over the weekend at Langdale.....oh dear, oh dear. Glad we've gone posh and are staying in a pod!

19.5C with sunny spells which counts as an excellent day by summer 2011 standards.

Reached a max of 20.1C earlier - only the 3rd time 20C has been reached since 3rd June. Still awaiting the first 21C since then :whistling:

Another summery day temperatures already above the forecast level but in region I enjoy best 22.6C. Pity I've got gut rot and neighbours who think shouting is the normal way of talking.

A mix today of some cloud and long sunny spells. more especially in the afternoon. A band of high cloud (probably Cumulonimbus) from the South West has turned the sunshine hazy. Pleasantly warm temps around 19c.

A better day than I had expected with large amounts of sunshine and light winds. 22.7C the high and still 21C outside now, certainly warm enough to eat tea outside and not feel chilly. B)

A very respectable maximum of 25.6C, with varying amounts of cloud. Feeling very humid still. Should feel fresher tomorrow, currently 22.6C with a very light wind from the west.
