scunny people, we're not gonna get any thunder just yet. I usually trust my instincts when it comes to storms, when i get a headache we get thunder! No headache yet. Strange but true..........Does anyone else suffer with this when its going to thunder?

Strangely convection has started bubbling up over Sussex in the last 20 minutes as well.

Also be on the look-out for Funnel Clouds today as the conditions are ripe for CZ Funnels, and they will be VERY Photogenic! :good:

Still just plain cloudy here rather annoyingly and not really an indicator that things will spark off. All it needs I guess is for the clouds to break a little (I think) and we could be on

Even down here on the south coast we have a southerly based inflow on any convection with the upper winds moving from the NNW. Would like to be on the Downs later watching out for a funnel cloud. Sadly I have to work.

After some beautiful radar blobs for NG5 area of Nottingham at 10.30 I am looking more positively forward to potential thunder today! The 10.30 radar looked way more impressive than what actual fell from the sky (just a 10 minutes shower) but north of me looked to get the core of the popcorn cells. After my shower passed, I am happy to report blasts of sunshine and cumulus clouds that look as though they have gone through a period of Inflation and are fat and whispy in nature as oppossed to cauliflour in character. Towers are starting to build now, so here's fingers crossed to a thundery day!!! :D

Everything is missing again so far, and it could be another one of those days

You are right in the firing line. It is barely 12 o'clock. Have a bit of patience!
