Forecast was wrong for the West. It's 21.0C here right now (Supposed to be a 15C max)

There are sunny spells with skies clearing from the South East (supposed to rain all day)

And the pressure is hardly different to those futher south/east.

Lol.

A sunny start to the day but the cloud is beginning to thicken now. Rather warm again with a temp of 22.4C after a max 10 minutes ago of 22.9C. Mild last night too with a low of 12.7C.

No rain at all so far this month, but that looks to change later.

Today started much the same way as the previous days so far in July with plenty of warm sunshine. There were some lovely formations of Altocumulus and Cirrus from first light and these foretold the approaching front.

The temperature lifted to 19.7c by 10.30 however those clouds then began to thicken and steady rain set in soon after 11.00, the first rain of July but this is already clearing after just 2 hours - lovely narrow band on the radar!

Currently 17.3c and 64% humidity.

After a dry and warm morning with sunny intervals rain has just started to fall here. The current temp is 19.6c.

Unfortunately it looks like quite a narrow band of rain, perhaps it will slow down as it moves east.

It tried to rain but gave up. None measurable here.

Anyway the effect of the cold front moving through is felt, down to only 16.1°C from 21.2°C at 11:00AM.
