After a spell of moderate rain last evening the night remained mostly cloudy. Bright and sunny spells developing towards observation. There was a good deal of cloud through the day with showers breaking out, though again this location only saw a few light spots of rain. Feeling rather cool in the brisk westerly wind.

An absolutely gorgeous day today, very warm in the sunshine with a light breeze, and just a few 'cotton wool' puffs of fair weather cumulus, hard to believe that the current serinity will give way to heavy thundery rain in a few hours time!!

Having fully expected today to be wet from the off it was lovely to be out working in brightness, hazy sunshine and

warmth until early afternoon and the rain is just about here now.

Currently 18.5c, max so far 18.8c, humidity 73% and calm.
