Hello!

I am looking to buy a digital camera for general/weather/train pics.

I cannot really afford a DSLR yet and may get a bit lost with one being an amateur.

I have come across the Samsung WB650 and looking at reviews it seems good.

Does anyone have any knowledge on whether this is what I should be looking to buy?

Fuji Finepix S2960HD also looks very good.

Anyone use one of these? May be a better alternative?

The samsung looks good according to most of the user reviews, may be worth considering a Lumix FZ28 ,it is around £200 with optical image stabiliser 18x zoom .

it all depends on your budget ...
