A very disturbed day with bands of heavy rain and showers mergin at times into longer spells of rain with some brief bright spells inbetween. The showers have stopped now.

It has been a coold day despite feeling quite muggy at times.

So another dissapointing day for May. This has been a poor May in the Lake District with few dry days and only one or two days hitting the 20 degree mark.
