I know this is a particularly emotional debate, especially being under 24 hours away, but can we please keep things civil please. Whatever happens tomorrow can we please not let any political divisions result in resentment and anger towards each other.

And that ignorant, offensive, rant sums up exactly why the YES campaign failed

Good god. What a load of boarish spiteful bile from bad losers has been posted during the night. I actually dread to think how Scotland would be run if this is representative of how the yes vote behav

I'm disappointed in the lack of grace shown by some across the net in accepting this No vote. A complete lack of any empathy and understanding as to why fellow Scots didn't vote Yes.   I personally

I find it offensive because Mr Haines has not been laid to rest yet and yet you still find it appropriate to use his death in your propaganda campaign.

I wasn't the one who brought up the beheading so I think you need to get a grip a little and get on to the person who brought it into the thread or is it the same old in this thread people against independence can talk about what they like but we cant and aren't allowed our own views? I was simply stating what has happened and I feel if we had some forces salmond would have tried more to help than what Cameron did.

Sorry BUS, that is bang out of order mate. I would request you withdraw that comment.

its not bang out of order for me to reply to someone else who brought it up with what has actually happened or am I to have beheadings used against me a yes voter and not reply because we aren't with the no side because I felt the first comment was really offensive to try and lay things like that upon us when we don't make the decisions

First you say you only need a small defensive force because you aren't getting involved in foreign wars, now you are saying if you had your own forces you would use them straight away if a citizen got murdered by terrorists in a foreign country....which is it?

The government have already said they don't know where the hostages are otherwise they would have probably tried a rescue mission by now.

I know there Is some big weird loving going on in here for salmond but what is he some kind of physic guru now as well that knows where the hostages are all on his own but the worlds greatest super power doesn't?

Amazing scenes on the streets of Scotland right now. Thousands of Yes voters standing and singing as free men and women in defiance of the Westminster Oxbridge millionaire elite.

Revolution by peaceful mean, glorious to see.

at least wait for the votes to be counted before talking about a revolution. :cc_confused:  just in case...

you wouldn't need large forces to send in a rescue mission you don't go to rescue someone and signal your presence with a whole army look at what they sent after bin laden you don't always need a huge force to complete a mission

Did I really just read that? That is totally out of line and completely offensive. As the others have said, you really are a discredit to everyone, BUS, including yourself. I understand that you're extremely passionate about tomorrow, but there is certainly no need for a post like that...

I believe it is also incorrect as David Haines was actually born

    in East Yorkshire.

You do realise it's not as easy as just parachute a couple of guys in with a machine gun don't you?

Mountain Shadow - you are right there is a revolution going on regardless of yes or no, and it will encompass the whole UK as the system will not be able to remain as it is.

Someone had mentioned Whitehall were briefed today on convening parliament on Saturday! They would only do that after a yes vote. So to me it means they have been briefed that there is a real chance of a yes vote!
