It is still very light here at 9pm, and there is still light in the sky at 10pm, enough to be able to find your way around if in an unlit area.

Should be lovely light evenings until at least 9pm for the next 2 months now.

Very visible last night here, With a blue glow on the Northern horizon through the night.

A lovely pre glow from cirrus this morning well before dawn, an indication just how shallow the sun is below the horizon at this time of the year

Despite the clouds, there was enough to gaps to the north to see the twilight even at half past midnight.

Shallow fog, lingering twilight, glow from a near full moon

The new season has started in the far far north!

Even down south, it is noticeable how it is taking for it to go completely dark.

Yes last night was clear and we were able to see to roll in newly sown crop until 10.00pm without lights. In spte of next weeks weather which will hold all growth back maybe well into May as long as we get a warmer June everything will catch up with our very long hours of daylight. However if we get a cold June like last year then the  season is lost.as far as maximum yields are concerned.

With the Arctic airmass in place, the clarity of the air is superb and is making the twilight pronounced. The sun set over an hour ago here and there is still a notable glow present.

Down to Northern Ireland and Northern England now.
