The cloud began to clear before dawn allowing for mist and fog patches to develop, visibility reduced to <100 yds for a short time around dawn. At observation, mostly clear and sunny.

A clear and sunny start to the morning but Cu humilis,which began to develop around 0830 g.mt., quickly increased and spread into a sheet of Stcu by late morning and this persisted for the rest of the day with just a few sunny intervals.. The cloud sheet began to break up again by 1730 g.m.t.

At 1800 g.m.t;

Temp', 11.6c

Max' today, 15.3c

Min' last night, 6.5c

Grass min', 3.5c

Rainfall from 0800-1800, nil

Clear intervals last night.

Rather cloudy to 1030. Sunny periods and warm 1030 to 1300. Cloudy 13-1500, then sunny periods again to 1830, but rather cloudy again this evening.

Light to moderate southerly this morning, turned to a NW breeze from 1300; the cloud and sea breeze caused a sudden 4c drop in temperature.

On the coast this afternoon there was persistent low cloud and hill fog with a temperature of about 12c.

Min: 5.5c @ 0200

Max: 18.4c @ 1300 (1c adjustment)

Trace rain yesterday/ dry today.
