Maximum of 3c today with a very variable fresh to strong wind all day with rain and sleet squalls in the morning but heavy snow showers in the afternoon and evening giving a covering tonight .Currently 0c and snow flurries.Photos from yesterday mornings snowfall which drifted about a bit in the morning producing 1 to 2 foot drifts which are still here today after a partial thaw yesterday afternoon making the countryside still look wintry this morning before tonights fresh snow.
