A clear start to last night allowed a slight air frost before increasing cloud and breeze after 2300 caused a slow rise in temperature, yesterday's max' of 3.3c was reached at 0900 this morning.

By dawn it was overcast and by 0815 thick hill fog and light drizzle had arrived, setting the pattern for the rest of the day which was overcast with continuous moderate-thick drizzle or light rain. The drizzle became light again after 1630 and the hill fog lifted into mist around the same time.
