The cars also had MP3 Slots where people could plug there tunes staright into the Car and play their playlists

Please add what you are taking and things I might have forgotten or what might be a good idea, Insect Repellent for Recluse Spider Bites for instance

Pat you missing an item from your list.

GPS unit

So you and Ian can hunt down the nearest pizza place, because keeping Ian eating means he wont be keeping you awake.

No need for ear muffs, just keep him eating :good:

on the Stormtrack Forum equipment lists for stormchasing Safety Specs are always on the lists to wear in car if caught in large hail to protect your eyes from glass in the event of windscreen shattering even a dent in the glass can cause glass splinters to fly off the glass inside the car i had some in my grab bag last year a Dickies pair you can get 3M and several other trendy types that post-9919-0-32318300-1299538706_thumb.jplook like sunglasses I think yellowpost-9919-0-44516000-1299538741_thumb.jp to give high contrast or clear for at night probably best but any are better than none.

Buy your bug spray out there much cheaper than in uk and get far more for your money post-9919-0-41656800-1299539191_thumb.jp this one worked for me last year you need to try to avoid mozzie bites in us as West Nile Fever is a nasty that is spread by mozzies in the area of us we are visiting http://www.cdc.gov/n...ncidbyState.htm you can read about it here http://en.wikipedia....West_Nile_virus don't worry about it too much though as the incidence rate is low just something to be aware off

Well I think when "lightning Dimmer" hung his pants out to dry on the car aerial they were whipped off in an RFD, so since then he stays up half the night doing the chinese laundry bit. If you contact "Lightning Dimmer" AKA Dogs32 and advise him what laundry you have I'm sure he will be prepared to get it done overnight for you :whistling:

Sorry Pat at least this will keep you out of the bar at night :drunk:

Some chasers swear by a sealeable plastic bag for any creams or toiletries that may leak, the air pressure changes can pop them open. Last year I decided to buy new underwear at walmart rather than washing (clothes that is, not me, I showered every 5 days wheter I needed it or not) whistling.gif

I wonder if the dirty washing is still in that Walmart locker where you left it, or if they are hunting down the odour?

Just think..not long to be listening to the music(ABBA) in the car with Wendys around the corner for dinner...

Followed by a late afternoon Supercell..

ahhh bliss...I rest my case..lol

followed by a late night gathering with Buds and Toms jokes....

good times are on the horizon

finished off with the Indian man with a crate of beer with lightning shots

And late night skinny dipping in the Hotel Pool..

this is luxury

Testing my gear for this year two failures with batteries knacked, that's OK, quick fix.

Missing camera batteries, oh sod it.

Expansion hard drive comes up with read error, and powers down.

Oh f..... damnit gonna have to make another plan to store any images and movies collected.

Damn :wallbash:

Thing was mine was a photobank so I just plugged in the SDHC card, pressed the button and it downloaded, up to 18Gb on one charge.

I'm so sad nobody makes it anymore. :cray: :cray:

There's always Walmart, they stood me in good stead last given I had nothing out with me , although have to admit I memoried up to the hilt this year !! Will need a visit when we touchdown though I couldn't be bothered to haul my tripod around .
