A dry night with a touch of ground frost and a dry and cloudy start to the morning. Sleet began to fall around 1000 and continued for the rest of the morning, though it was only light. The sleet turned to intermittent light rain after midday as the temp' rose slowly and in the last half hour there have been a few glimpses of sunshine.

The temp' is 4.2c after a min' of 2.2c

Rainfall in 24hrs to 0900, nil

Mean wind speed was 9 mph W at 0900 but has since veered N/NW and increased to 13mph.
