Rain cleared around midnight and the sky cleared allowing the temperature to fall to -0.1c with –3.8c on the grass, so a widespread ground frost and a touch of air frost. At observation, sunny and clear, ground frost.

Sky: 0 Oktas, clear.

Temperature: 1.6°C

Wind Direction: ESE Force 2-3

Humidity: 98%

Barometer:993 mb rising.

Yesterday:

A clear start overnight allowed the temperature to fall low enough for a widespread ground frost to develop. Cloud and an increasing wind after midnight lifted the temperature to 3.4c by dawn. At observation, overcast, feeling cool in the force 4-5 easterly wind. Light spots rain set in soon after observation, making for a damp and cool day. Light rain continued in to the evening.

Light-moderate rain until around midnight but predominantly dry after that. Thick fog throughout the night and into this morning although it is now beginning to show signs of thinning and clearing.

The temp' is 1.6c after a min' of 1.2c and a grass min' of 0.2c

A bright and quite pleasant day with sunny intervals. Current conditions: broken cloud, 8.1 deg C, wind light SE. Today's maximum 10.1, last night's minimum 1.4.

The thick fog early this morning cleared by about 1000 and the rest of the morning was dry with sunny intervals and variable amounts of St and with Ci and Alcu above it. The afternoon was dry and mainly cloudy.
