Aye all it has been fun.

An exceptional start but a long dull period where nothing happened but was fun to follow the potential excitement here.

Here's to a repeat next winter but with maybe a longer period of snow or more outbreaks.

what a lovely spell of weather we are having currently, plenty of sunshine and 3 days in a row with 15C+ temperatures! almost makes up for the duller than average jan,feb

After having the kind of weather we've had over the last few days, I certainly don't want to go back to any cold weather until next winter. It's beautiful out there.

wednesday onwards looks like the atlantic comes through so

could be some rain eventually for us

look at the lows in the atlantic heading for us

high pressure moves away to the east

Why is that interesting?

The high pressure to the left might ridge slowly North which could drag in colder air

Oh, I see.

GP on the model thread thinks we will have Spring like conditions, so let's see if ECM backs away from colder conditions in FI.
