Isle Of Barra Photos

Pictures taken of where I live Western Isles in Scotland.

Taken in 2007 an old bottle washed up on the beach sat on top of the fence with the sun setting in the background.

Also taken in 2007 where the bottle washed up.

The town with a rainbow over it taken in 2008.

Taken in the summer of 2008 the sun setting behind the Castle.

A beach not on Barra but a island connected to it via Causeway down south a beach that's stunning yet not one person was on the beach when it was taken in 2007.

Same beach the only thing you could hear was the little waves.

Taken in 2008 a island called Pabbay its a very small island it can only be reached by a small boat you can visit in the summer and no one lives their.

Taken very close to where the bottle picture was taken just looking down south again not a person in sight not even an animal.

Taken in 2009 this is actually the moon setting and it only rarely occurs in that position where standing stones are.

Taken in 2009 from Barra looking over to the Isle of Skye.

This was taken in 2008 at the north side of the island.

When I went to Mingulay on a school trip an Island right at the bottom of the Western Isles where no one lives.

Taken in 2008 on the south end.

Mingulay cliffs that reach 896ft high.

Reminds me a lot of Cornwall, albeit with less snow.

Absolutely stunning. I never realised we have such beautiful landscape in the United Kingdom. I really do need to get out more. At first glance you could be forgiven for thinking that was the med. or even the carribean (snowy pics aside).
