A Grand Boxing Day

Warms the cockles of the heart.:yahoo:

From the Melbourne Herald Sun.

FANS packed the MCG yesterday for one of the most anticipated days of Test cricket in years and were then forced to endure one of Australia's most embarrasing performances.

to be honest, I don't think an English crowd would have behaved in the same manner, and deserted the stadium en masse.

no matter what the situation on the field, cricket fans stay to the bitter end, backing the lads, getting bladdered, yes, but they STAY till the bitter end.

I thought it was very poor form by the Aussie fans.

I agree. I suppose it could be argued we've had much more experience in recent years of being on the receiving end. One thing's for certain the barmy army wouldn't have left if the position had been reversed.

just watched the day two highlights, and well done to the Aussie fans for packing the stadium out on what must have been one of their most painful ever days of watching their beloved team on home turf.

how good are England at the moment? They're a pleasure to watch.
