How are targetted ads finding there way onto my computer so quickly?

Targetted ads finding there way onto my computer so quickly? I was viewing properties on rightmove then soon as I clicked on youtube 20seconds later there was properties located where I was searching this is all very spooky clicked the opt out but I doubt that will do much i'm very confused as to how they managed to find there way into the ads so quickly?.
