[Thundery wintry showers]

I think the radar archive was quite a useful feature, particularly for nostalgic purposes or when researching a particular weather event in your local area.

I say "was" because increasingly in recent months it seems to have got very buggy and for a large proportion of the time the images won't load at all- any ideas why this is? They used to load reliably as recently as a year ago. Furthermore the problem seems to be getting worse with time- I don't think it's an exaggeration to say that they don't load for more than 95% of the time, just once in a blue moon you might get a success.

Has it been fixed? I tested it this morning and it's been working far better, will keep people posted if the recent problems recur to a significant extent.
