Where Is It Snowing Now?

Well, the first snowfall of the winter is here. And this does not llok like a quick cold spell, this looks like a prolonged cold winter with a blocked high to the north west of the uk enabling very cold northerly and easterly winds to come from Scandinavia and the Continent.

So, to celebrate this, please can you all let us know where it is snowing at the moment on Wednesday 24th November at 20:41, how long it has been snowing for and how much lying snow there is.

From Barnsley, South Yorkshire where at the moment there is no snow in site as of 20:42 on Wednesday 24th November.

Reports of snow are starting to arrive

Up to 3 cm of snow have been reported at Redesdale Camp and Albemarle, both

in northeast England, and snow is lying elsewhere in the area, including down to

low levels and close to coasts. The public are invited to send in their reports
