a cold, sunny, calm and frosty start-lowest isnow at -1.1C; the 3rd air frost in the last 6 days-scuppered my golf, I'm becoming an old wimp, a few years ago I'd have been off to enjoy the ball bouncing across the water!

A second consecutive clear and sunny day after a cold start which saw a min of 1.4C. The band of cloud last night produced no precipitation, so assuming the rain doesnt hit before midnight it'll be the first dry day of the month.

Cold and foggy here in central Reading. Current conditions: fog, 3.7 deg C, wind light variable. Today's maximum 4.2, last night's minimum 1.0.

And a belated welcome to Reading, Nick L! We're near the town centre here in a densely populated area so generally notice the urban heat island effect more than at the university.
