November 2010 Rainfall Totals

England and Wales already up to 30mm by the 7th, which is a third of the total November rainfall.

Scotland 55mm by the 7th

Northern Ireland 58mm by the 7th

Very dry Novembers are pretty rare. Infact the driest November on record for England and Wales which occurred in 1945 wouldn't even be in the top 50 driest months ever recorded for England and Wales.

I am up to 51.8mm as at 07:00 today. Very wet month so far.

90.4 mm so far here this month ( up to 0900 today ) which is 88% of the average for the whole of November.

Even wetter at Buxton, 118mm there so far.

Going by the available data on here met.ie, it seems Ireland has already had about 67% of the entire months rainfall in the first 8 days.

This includes ranges from 33.8mm (31%) in Cork Airport to 103.8mm (93%) in Claremorris, which had 285.4mm last November.
