Very low pressure here, absolute pressure at 949.6hpa after a low of 949.4hpa and relative pressure at 975.1hpa, which one do i go by? as absolute pressure seems the most normal for the majority of the time, as relative pressure has got to 1054hpa before this year and im not sure if it is right?

Is my baro going faulty? also, is pressure in hpa the same as mb? (sorry to go off topic, was not sure where to post this)

Your settings are somewhat too low, as my station has bottomed out at 963mbar, which ties in with the MO sites. Hpa and Mbar are the same yes.

Outbreaks of moderate rain arrived around 3:30am, accompanied by a cold strong and gusty southeasterly wind. At observation, cold, moderate rain, very windy. The day stayed very windy and raw feeling, with further moderate rain which turned to sleet at times (this only noticeable on car windscreen, 95/5 as rain) through the afternoon as the temperature fell to 3.0c. Overcast cold, windy and wet all day with continuous moderate sleet, albeit mostly very wet sleet. This morning there was a south easterly gale but the wind slowly decreased during the afternoon, through remaining gusty.

A truly wonderful day; if only it had been August.
