UK Outlook for Sunday 17 Jun 2018 to Sunday 1 Jul 2018:

There is low confidence in the forecast at this stage. However, it looks as though the second half of June will probably start changeable with showers or perhaps longer spells of rain, these interspersed with drier periods. While temperatures may be close to or a little above normal for a time, there will be an ongoing risk that warm, humid and perhaps thundery conditions will spread across the UK from the continent. The last week of the month may become more generally settled, with a chance of warmer temperatures and more sunshine for many.

UK Outlook for Thursday 7 Jun 2018 to Saturday 16 Jun 2018:

Thursday should see a good deal of fine weather in the north with sunny spells. However, skies are likely to be generally cloudier in central and southern parts with a risk of scattered heavy showers and thunderstorms. Generally very warm for many, with cooling sea breezes on some coasts. Through the second weekend of June, there's a continued risk of thundery showers in parts of the south, although it may become more generally unsettled in the west later that Sunday. Through the rest of this forecast period until the middle of June, more changeable weather is likely with showers or longer spells of rain pushing in from the west, but interspersed with some drier and warmer periods.

UK Outlook for Friday 8 Jun 2018 to Sunday 17 Jun 2018:

On Friday and into next weekend we should see a good deal of fine weather in the north with sunny spells and variable amounts of cloud. However, in central and southern areas, skies are likely to be cloudier with a risk of scattered heavy showers and thunderstorms. It will be very warm for many, with cooling sea breezes on some coasts. The weather looks to stay similar into the start of the week commencing 11th June, with the drier and brighter conditions more likely in the north, and showers possible in the south. However through the rest of that week and into mid-June, there is an increasing chance of more changeable weather, with spells of rain pushing in from the west, but interspersed with some drier and warmer periods.

UK Outlook for Saturday 9 Jun 2018 to Monday 18 Jun 2018:

Into the weekend and conditions are looking fairly mixed across the country, with some good spells of sunshine, especially in the north, but most areas are likely to see some showers, which could be heavy and thundery, mainly in the south and east. It will remain warm or very warm for many, especially in the south, where it will also feel humid. Noticeably cooler near windward coasts, where it will be cloudier and misty at times. Into next week and most places will stay fine with bright or sunny spells, but with the increasing risk of showers becoming more widespread, these will possibly be heavy and thundery at times. Staying warm for many, especially at first, with temperatures perhaps trending back towards the average by the middle of June.

UK Outlook for Sunday 10 Jun 2018 to Tuesday 19 Jun 2018:

A north/south split in the weather across the UK is likely at the start of the period with plenty of fine, sunny weather in the north with a chance of the odd shower. In contrast the south is more likely to have more humid, cloudy conditions with perhaps some heavy, thundery downpours. Eastern coastal counties may continue to be rather cool and grey at times with mist and low cloud spreading off the North Sea. Light winds, warm days and mild nights are widely expected. Through the week similar conditions are likely to continue, but showers may become more widespread across the north, meanwhile the risk of thundery showers in the south may gradually reduce. By the end of the period temperatures may start to decline, especially across the north.

UK Outlook for Wednesday 20 Jun 2018 to Wednesday 4 Jul 2018:

Slowly evolving weather patterns are most likely to be in place at the start of the outlook. A mixture of some good sunny and warm spells and occasional showery periods are likely, with the chance of some thundery downpours especially in the south. Temperatures are likely to be warmer than average overall both by day and overnight. There is a possibility of some very warm or even hot spells particularly in the south. Whilst signals are weak; a generally settled picture is most likely through the end of June and the start of July but with low confidence.

UK Outlook for Monday 11 Jun 2018 to Wednesday 20 Jun 2018:

A north/south split in the weather is likely on Monday with sunny spells in the north with a chance of the odd shower. In contrast the south is more likely to have more humid, cloudy conditions with perhaps some heavy, thundery downpours. Eastern coastal counties may continue to be rather cool and grey. A drier interlude is then likely before a change in weather type is probable around midweek. This would see more mixed and sometimes windy conditions developing. Most places seeing sunny spells, but also cloudier periods with outbreaks of rain or scattered showers, these heaviest in the northwest. Cooler than of late for most, rather cool in the northwest, but warmer at times in the east.

Sunny spells on Tuesday and Wednesday with a chance of some afternoon showers, but later on Wednesday cloudier and windier conditions with outbreaks of rain may arrive from the west. Temperatures around or a little above average, but a little cooler than preceding days. Leading up to the weekend a change to much more mixed and occasionally windy conditions is probable, with some cloudier periods and scattered showers or outbreaks of rain. The west and northwest are likely to be the wettest, and there is a risk of thundery showers, mainly in the south. This unsettled pattern is likely to continue through the rest of this forecast period, with temperatures generally around normal, but with some large day to day variations depending on the progression of frontal systems.

Whilst there is low confidence in the forecast detail during this outlook period, there is a weak signal that there'll be a gradual return to more settled and drier weather through the end of June and the first week of July, but still with a chance of more showery interludes. Temperatures are likely to be warmer than average overall both by day and overnight, and there is a possibility of some very warm or even hot spells, these most likely in the south.

It should brighten up from the west on Thursday with a mix of sunshine and showers. Temperatures around average, but feeling cooler than preceding days. Going into the weekend a change to more mixed and occasionally windy conditions is probable, with most places seeing sunny spells interspersed with cloudier periods bringing outbreaks of rain or scattered showers. UK Outlook for Sunday 17 Jun 2018 to Tuesday 26 Jun 2018:

There will be a few showers especially in the east on Sunday, otherwise it will be fine with sunny spells. Cloud will then increase from the west though, with some drizzle light rain. Monday will be rather cloudy with some rain, but it will be drier and brighter in the east and southeast. The changeable conditions will continue, with most places seeing sunny spells interspersed with cloudier skies and scattered showers. There will possibly be some longer spells of rain in the northwest too, where it will be windy at times. Through the period temperatures will average out near normal, however, there is then a chance that drier and warmer conditions could develop towards the end of June, particularly in the south.

UK Outlook for Wednesday 27 Jun 2018 to Wednesday 11 Jul 2018:

It will perhaps be changeable in the north at first, with a mixture of sunny spells and showers, or longer spells of rain which would be heaviest in the northwest. More settled and drier weather already in the south may soon develop elsewhere though, and then last through much of the period. There is low confidence in this respect however, with still a chance of more showery interludes. Temperatures overall will be near or above average, with a chance of very warm or hot spells which will be most likely in the south.

Cloudier skies and perhaps some light rain are expected in the north and west on Monday, whilst many other areas will be fine and dry. It will be windy in the northwest and temperatures will be near normal here, but further south and eastwards it will become warm, or very warm for some. The changeable conditions will continue, with most places seeing sunny spells interspersed with cloudier skies and scattered showers.
