UK Outlook for Sunday 25 Jun 2017 to Tuesday 4 Jul 2017:

Rather changeable conditions are expected for Sunday and Monday, but confidence in details is low. Northern areas are likely to have sunshine and showers on Sunday with the south probably drier. However, rain may move east of north-eastwards across the UK at times. Cool for most, but warmer in the south. Looking ahead, changeable conditions look likely to prevail, with a mixture of sunshine and showers, or longer spells of rain possible. The showers could be heavy with thunder, especially in the east or southeast, where it is also likely to be driest. It will be rather windy at times with a risk of gales, mainly in the north. Temperatures will be near normal overall with a low chance of very warm conditions returning, into the east or southeast.

UK Outlook for Monday 26 Jun 2017 to Wednesday 5 Jul 2017:

Rather changeable conditions are expected for Monday and Tuesday, but confidence in details is low. Many areas are likely to see showers or longer spells of rain, with only brief drier and brighter spells. The northwest is likely to see the heaviest rain, although the southeast may see some thundery outbreaks. Looking ahead, changeable conditions look likely to prevail, with a mixture of sunshine and showers, or longer spells of rain possible, with the best of the drier interludes in the east. It will also be rather windy at times with a risk of gales, mainly in the north. Temperatures will be near normal or rather cool, especially compared to recently, although it may become warm and humid at times in the south and east.

UK Outlook for Thursday 6 Jul 2017 to Thursday 20 Jul 2017:

A continuation of the rather cool, changeable or unsettled weather looks most likely at first. This implies a mix of cloud and spells of rain, and drier and brighter interludes, the best of which are likely to be in the east. Drier, warmer spells may then become more prevalent in the south, and perhaps turning more widely settled across the UK by mid July, with some very warm spells possible. The very warm spells though may also bring an increased risk of some thundery outbreaks of rain developing.

The rest of this period will remain unsettled with further bouts of showery rain, perhaps heavy and thundery at times, interspersed with brief drier and brighter spells, these most likely in the east. It will often be windy, especially in the north and west where there is a risk of local gales at times. UK Outlook for Friday 7 Jul 2017 to Friday 21 Jul 2017:

The changeable weather is likely to continue at first, bringing further showers or longer spells of rain with only brief bright or sunny spells in between. However, drier and warmer spells are likely to become more prevalent during the second week of July and these may perhaps become more widespread as we head into the second half of the month. This will bring more in the way of sunshine and higher temperatures, with perhaps some very warm spells possible. However, an increase in temperatures also poses the threat of some thundery showers.

However, even here there is a risk of thunder at times. Showers are likely to be heavier in the northwest, perhaps turning thundery at times. UK Outlook for Monday 3 Jul 2017 to Wednesday 12 Jul 2017:

Next week should get off to a dry start for much of the UK, though some rain may spread in from the southwest and there is a low risk of thundery outbreaks towards the southeast by mid-week. Thereafter there is some uncertainty but at the moment it looks set to turn more changeable, especially across northwestern parts where some wet and windy weather is likely. Towards the south and east it should be drier and brighter though there is still the risk of thundery rain at times here. Temperatures will remain generally around average for the time of year, but there is an increasing chance of a very warm spell, most likely towards the southeast.

UK Outlook for Thursday 13 Jul 2017 to Thursday 27 Jul 2017:

UK Outlook for Tuesday 4 Jul 2017 to Thursday 13 Jul 2017:

Many southern and eastern areas should start dry with sunny spells. However, a transition to more generally changeable conditions seems quite likely, with outbreaks of rain developing, this perhaps thundery across the south and southeast, where it could also become very warm for a time. Towards the following weekend and indeed the start of the week beyond this, there is much uncertainty in the forecast, but it looks as though southern and eastern areas of the UK will see the best of the drier, brighter weather. Further northwest, a more unsettled theme seems likely, where it could also be windy at times. Temperatures will probably pan out around average, with warmer spells in the southeast, but becoming cool at times in the northwest.

UK Outlook for Friday 14 Jul 2017 to Friday 28 Jul 2017:

Further changeable weather is likely at first, with some rain at times, but also drier, brighter interludes, these most likely across the south and east. However, dry and warm weather may soon become more prevalent in the south, with a more settled picture then developing quite widely across the UK, increasing the chances of seeing some higher temperatures once again. By the end of the month, we may see a return to more changeable conditions, though still with temperatures above average.

UK Outlook for Wednesday 5 Jul 2017 to Friday 14 Jul 2017:

Many southern and eastern parts of the UK should stay dry, sunny and warm at first, but the north and west is likely to be on the changeable side with outbreaks of rain. A few thunderstorms are possible later in the week across southeastern England too. By the weekend, not much changes in the weather pattern, with the north and west of the UK holding onto some wet and breezy weather, along with some dry days. The driest and warmest weather should remain across the south and east. Towards the middle of July the northwest / southeast theme looks persistent, although there is a chance that the drier, more settled weather could extend further north.

UK Outlook for Saturday 15 Jul 2017 to Saturday 29 Jul 2017:

Most of the UK could be under the influence of some largely dry, settled and warm weather from the middle of July, with the driest and brightest days across the south and east of the UK. The highest temperatures are most likely here too. However, by the end of the month, we may see a return to more changeable conditions for many places, though still with temperatures above average.

UK Outlook for Thursday 6 Jul 2017 to Saturday 15 Jul 2017:

Thursday looks like being dry and warm for most of us with plenty of sunshine. A few showers are possible, most likely in the south. It will become rather humid in the far south and there is a small risk of some heavier thundery showers here. The weather is quite uncertain into next weekend, though it looks as though it will be brighter in the south and west, and wetter, windier and cooler in the northeast. The following week is likely to stay changeable with a mixture of cloudy days with spells of rain, and days with sunshine and showers. The driest and brightest weather is likely in the southeast with a risk of windy weather in the north.

UK Outlook for Sunday 16 Jul 2017 to Sunday 30 Jul 2017:

There is a signal for mainly dry, settled and warm weather from the middle of July, though this is far from certain at this stage. The driest and brightest days are likely to be across the south. The highest temperatures are most likely here too with the potential for some very warm days. However, by the end of the month, it will probably become more changeable for many places, though still with temperatures above average.

UK Outlook for Sunday 9 Jul 2017 to Tuesday 18 Jul 2017:

A band of rain is likely to move southeast on Sunday, although much of England and Wales will remain dry and sunny. As the front weakens it looks like Monday is set to be more settled with plenty of dry weather, but cooler in the north. Through mid-week a return to more changeable conditions is favoured with brighter and sunnier weather more likely in the south and east. Cloudier, wetter and windier conditions are more likely for the north with temperatures on the cool side of average. This changeable setup looks likely to continue through the weekend with a mixture of cloud and spells of rain, sunshine and showers, possibly thundery in the southeast at times.
