UK Outlook for Tuesday 30 Jul 2013 to Tuesday 13 Aug 2013:

Currently there are some indications that northern parts of the UK will most likely remain generally unsettled with outbreaks of rain, but some drier and brighter interludes at times. Meanwhile, southern areas seem rather more likely on balance to hold onto the fine and settled and sometimes warm weather, although there is an overall increased likelihood that rather more unsettled and cooler conditions may spread southwards at times.

Finally the end is in sight..

I wouldn't rely on it these updates are always changing our weather patterns over the past few years seem to get stuck and take a long time to shift and there is nothing harder to shift than high pressure when it gets a dominant as this one

UK Outlook for Sunday 21 Jul 2013 to Tuesday 30 Jul 2013:

Mostly dry and sunny on Sunday and into the start of next week, though some northern and eastern parts likely to see more in the way of low cloud and mist. Also, the risk of isolated afternoon showers developing at times. Feeling warm or very warm for many inland, but cooler towards the coasts. Predominantly settled conditions will continue through the rest of the week, however an increasing risk of daytime showers, and also northwestern parts becoming cloudier with outbreaks of rain. Remaining warm or hot in many places, but nearer normal in the cloudier northwest and along some coasts. Thereafter, uncertainty increases. The dry and warm weather may continue across eastern and southern parts at first, but a risk of more unsettled, cooler conditions spreading from the northwest.

UK Outlook for Monday 22 Jul 2013 to Wednesday 31 Jul 2013:

Mostly dry with plenty of sunshine through much of next week, though some northern and eastern parts likely to see low cloud at times, particularly in the mornings. There is also an increasing risk of isolated heavy, perhaps thundery showers breaking out, mainly in the afternoons and evenings, most likely over Northern Ireland, England and Wales. Feeling warm or locally hot for many, but cooler around coasts. Towards the end of the week generally more unsettled weather is possible, though it remains uncertain whether this manifests itself as cloudier weather with outbreaks of rain spreading from the northwest or showery, thundery conditions moving in from the south. Temperatures tending to remain above average and very warm, but perhaps becoming nearer normal if unsettled weather spreads in from the the northwest.

One thing does look certain ( if the forecast is indeed correct ) and that is it will gradually turn more unsettled.

It can hardly do otherwise?Posted Image

The south and east most likely to see the best of the fine weather. Temperatures generally lower than recently, although still warm at times.

UK Outlook for Friday 26 Jul 2013 to Sunday 4 Aug 2013:

Late next week and over the weekend, the weather is expected to be more mixed than of late. Most regions will see some sunny spells, but also cloudier periods with showers or perhaps longer spells of rain, some of these showers heavy, with a risk of thunder. It will also be less hot than recently, but temperatures still mostly above average and feeling warm in the sunnier areas, perhaps rather humid too. The changeable conditions are set to continue into the start of August, with the south and east most likely to see the best share of the fine weather. Temperatures generally on a downward trend, with the odd rather cool day quite possible, although probably still on the warm side at times in the south and east.

UK Outlook for Saturday 27 Jul 2013 to Monday 5 Aug 2013:

The weather will remain unsettled this weekend, with many places seeing some sunshine, but also with a chance of showers, some of which may be heavy and thundery. There are some suggestions that southern and southeastern parts will see the heaviest rain. The unsettled theme continues next week and into August, with cloud and bands of rain and showers affecting most areas, interspersed with spells of fine weather. Southern and eastern areas are perhaps most likely to see the best of any fine, dry weather. It will be warm at first, but should follow a cooling trend towards the end of the period, with many places seeing temperatures around average for the time of year.

UK Outlook for Sunday 28 Jul 2013 to Tuesday 6 Aug 2013:

Remaining mainly unsettled with a mixture of sunny spells and showers, heavy and perhaps thundery at times. Also a risk of southern and eastern parts of the UK seeing some more persistent heavy rain or thunderstorms early Sunday. Northern and western parts may also become cloudier with more persistent rain during the first part of next week. The unsettled theme continues for most through into August, with showers or longer spells of rain and also breezy at times, particularly across northern and western parts. Some drier, brighter interludes likely too, especially in southern and eastern areas. Compared to the last couple of weeks temperatures will be lower and mainly near or a little above average. As such conditions will feel fresher, especially at night, but still pleasantly warm in sunshine.

UK Outlook for Wednesday 7 Aug 2013 to Wednesday 21 Aug 2013:

The balance of probability suggests changeable conditions currently expected during the first few days of August persisting for at least part of this forecast period. Consequently further showers or longer spells of rain are likely to affect the UK, perhaps over northern and western parts in particular. There will also be some spells of fine weather, probably most likely in southern regions. Temperatures, meanwhile, considered more likely than not to be at least a little above average and, as such, conditions should feel pleasantly warm during finer spells of weather.

Remaining mainly unsettled with sunny spells and showers, the showers heavy and perhaps thundery at times. Northern and western parts will tend to see the heaviest showers early next week, perhaps some more persistent rain here for a time then too. Further south and east showers may become heavier and more frequent for a time midweek. The changeable theme then continues into early August, with showers or longer spells of rain particularly affecting northern and western parts, with it also breezy here at times. Some drier, brighter interludes likely too, especially in southern and eastern areas. Compared to the last couple of weeks, temperatures will be lower: mainly near or perhaps a little above average.
