UK Outlook for Friday 25 May 2012 to Sunday 3 Jun 2012:

Much of the UK is likely to start the period largely dry and settled, with clear or sunny spells expected in most areas, although eastern coastal districts may stay fairly cloudy. Southwestern parts of the UK are the most likely to see rain during this time, perhaps heavy or thundery in places, but even here there should also be a good deal of dry weather. From Monday onwards, more changeable conditions with rain at times are likely for many areas, with northern parts of the UK keeping the best of the settled weather. Temperatures are likely to be above average in all but eastern coastal areas at first, locally very warm in central and southern parts of Britain, but return closer to normal for the start of June.

UK Outlook for Sunday 3 Jun 2012 to Tuesday 12 Jun 2012:

For the Jubilee weekend including Bank Holiday Monday many parts of the UK will be dry, bright and feeling cooler than of late. The exceptions being eastern, and in particular northeastern coastal areas, which could experience a little more cloud and a few showers. Also, cloud and rain may encroach into the far southwest during the weekend, but with some uncertainty at this stage on its extent. Temperatures will be around or just below average for the time of year, and feeling rather cool near breezier northeast coasts. From Bank Holiday Tuesday onwards, it should become gradually more unsettled for most parts with persistent rain or showers at times, but the southeast may hold onto the driest weather for longest. Temperatures should remain around or just below average.
