A cloudy night and a dry one until around 0330 g.m.t when light-moderate rain arrived from the north; once again though the heaviest rain was just to the west of here.

Currently dry and overcast with the stratus base flirting with the hill tops above 350m.

The temp' is 11.9c after a min' of 10.7c

Rainfall in 24 hrs ending 0800 g.m.t, 5.9 mm

Mean wind speed, 19 mph N/NE

Vis', between 1 and 6 km as the stratus lifts and lowers.

Further rain overnight has produced another 5.0mm, bringing the total since 09:00 GMT yesterday to 7.2.0mm. At observation, still very damp and overcast, though brighter patches are beginning to drift in from the north.

After some light overnight rain, this has now cleared and one or two cloud breaks, but still generally cloudy. Hopefully we can dodge those showers and a bright afternoon follows.

Very heavy showers 0430- 0615. Lighter showers until 0800.

Rather cloudy with sunny intervals, more in the way of sunny spells this afternoon. Moderate to fresh north wind but warmer than recent days.

Sunday 1st August - Cloudy 22c

Monday 2nd August - Sunday 8th August cloudy but lovely in the evenings. Sunny spells, not getting above 22c though.

Monday 9th August - A lovely day of sunshine and scattered clouds. Warm too at around 21c.

Tuesday 10th August - Great day! Sunshine and some cloud at time, feeling warm though, 20c.

Wednesday 11th - Some sunny spells. 19c

Thursday 12th - Mostly cloudy - 19c

Friday 13th - Some sunny spells but mostly cloudy. Feeling warm with a high around 20c.

Saturday 14th - Sunny spells towards tea time but otherwise cloudy with just the occasional break in the cloud. 21c though. Feeling VERY pleasant.

rubbish old day, temp got up to 15c most of time but cloud cleared away to leave glourious sunshine and 17c, luckily tonight it'll drop and we will get 3/4c!:wallbash: Grass frost? Then 24c tomorrow yay!?!
