Fantastic videos Pat, love seeing helicopters in slow motion.

Hope it's ok to add these few here.. I went on Friday and managed to see a few out and about rehearsing. My first photo post so I hope they attache ok.

Interesting Video.To think that most of those pilots were just 21-24 years of age. I think what I was doing at 21.Ugh. . I saw a film on TV a few days ago about the mistakes he Germans made when launching the Luftwaffe onslaught at England especially re. our radar installations and we laid black ash in lines across airfields to make it look like as though they were fields with hedges so they weren't bombed so deception also played a large part in defeating the,the onslaught orchestrated by Goering.it saved us as much, if not more than the skills and bravery of these pilots-In reality we almost didn't make it.

infact if Georing knew how many planes we had l;eft at one point we would of lost the war.. :drinks:

will put the jet one up at some point...One slow motion and the other in real time....

Thanks for posting and pat, most local RAF bases have a museum and show the aircraft that fly to that base and also the ww2 planes and helis that used to operate at that base :lol: p.s go to a duxford airshow it gives you acess to the museum for the same price :)

Hey Pat, can I tease you into to coming to Bournemouth before November, as RyanAir stops flying their Boeing 737-800 then for the winter.

Just think pictures of aircraft. Mmmmmm mmmmm. Sod the summer storms and French Plumes let's grow up and do something different. :wallbash:
