14C and sunny. Despite the drizzle in the morning yesterday and a couple of fat showers drifting about the area yesterday afternoon the local Met-O weather station only got 1.8mm of rain. We're forecast for more rain today so here's hoping it comes to something this time.

The last really "hot" day if the forecasts are to be believed. Will be another hot one too I think, currently blue skies, lots of sun 18.7c. Overnight low last night was 16.7c

Already a nasty 25c in my back garden.

Was hoping for a cooler day today with temperatures hovering around the 22c mark. Obviously not. Non the less, sunny outside, guess I can always top up my tan. :D

Hot and sunny all day - maximum 27.9, minimum 14.1, wind light SW.

Yesterday: hot and sunny, a few clouds in the afternoon. Maximum 28.7.

Just returned from a stunning week in the Costa del Derbyshire - the Peak District shared last week's excellent weather with just a 10 minute shower on Thursday morning where we were (Middleton Top, starting on the High Peak Trail).

Gorgeous sunny start to the day with a nice breeze to and stayed very sunny until around 2pm, it's gradually clouded over since then though was mostly sunny till around 4pm, now overcast with a few spots of rain.

Temp 21.2c after a high of 25.1c
