They are skiing at Cairngorm this weekend. Was up there last week and still a lot of snow. Unless we have a very warm July and August then some of that snow will still be there this coming winter.

sunny-bits of Ci and Contrails as the only cloud, very little wind, the min was 8.9C, up to 13.2C already=nice day to come it seems and probably all week as well. So much for the summer is over that some suggest at times!

Cloud is slowly breaking, although looking at the forecasts it might come and go throughout the day. Less breeze than the last week, should be a much better day by the afternoon.

13.3c the min but warmed up very fast under completely clear skies this morning so far 20.5c (which I think is a little too high actually - sensor catching the sun I think).

Yesterday:

Was a very cool night for June, low 4.4c, just missing a ground frost, here, grass minimum 0.9c. Rosliston station, 2 miles from here did register a ground frost with –0.4c on the grass.

Bright so far with sunny spells, the temperature has now recovered to 12.6c at observation. The day continued pleasant with good sunny spells, warm by afternoon with the temperature reaching 21.8c. Maximum wind gust 17mph WNW.

Back in Cork city today, but it's still sunny and warm. About 19C out already.

Gurteen in Tipperary had a diurnal range of 20.1C yesterday, 2.6C min and 22.7C max

Sun burnt away the early morning cloud, but as the morning has gone on more cloud has developed and its currently overcast.

Despite that its 21.4c which is the warmest its been here for a while.

Hi all

A cracking day here at the moment with some lovely warm sunshine, there is that breeze as well which also makes it feel very pleasant here on the IOW east coast but despite that the temperatures are doing well here at 21.9c and have had a high so far of 22.3c, however in newport its currently 24.0c so its very warm there.

I'm currently recording 25.9c which seems quite high (although it feels it in the office today!). Sensor is definitely clear of the sun at this time of day so should be right...

Now partly cloudy and feeling more humid.

Feeling warmer again today and a little more humid. Temperatures into the low 70's / 21C. Cooler right on the coast with a light breeze. Plenty of warm sunshine.
