Ok as I was saying 4 Supercells two tornados.....lol

Anvils to me West here and one to my S/east

1 strike so far detcted between Stevenage and Hitchin! Hopefully a sign of things to come!

very eerie down here in the solent area feels like something should happen but will have to wait n see

From 19.00pm heavy thundery showerys from the NW which is unusual for here(but twice in one month is :lol: ) and being so cool lasting an hour with overhead thunder and some lightning,with 15mm of rain,still raining but the tunder died past here,wind was calm then NW-ly to NE-ly.

NW direction rules this year it seems so far for heavy showers. :lol:

Been fairly humid here today with lots of AcCas littering the sky - combined with the signs in the sky and Helen Willetts forecast I wouldnt rule out chances for the London area (parts of the SE in general) later on tonight and into the early hours :lol: fingers crossed :lol:

Absolutely amazing skies here this evening- beautiful Mammatus clouds above and anvils in the distance to my south-west. The setting sun has their sides lit up!

Its brilliant isnt it however looks like staying dry for us now for the time being.

The showers in wales are dying off and north of us...
