    Apparently the output in Iceland has increased by 50% I did wonder when all those extra vents opened up.

    From the looks of the jetstream models, sometime mid-week could be a good time for us in the UK/Europe to be on the lookout for deep-red sunsets & sunrises as the upper-winds begin to carry the La Soufriere ash towards this side of the Atlantic.

    Problem is, they have to get to the other side of the island, in nil visibility, low oxygen, and in vehicles being starved of air by their blocked air filters.

    Should have gone when told unfortunately.

    I don't think it is.  It is part of the Commonwealth though.

    Most of my family live in St Vincent.  Been talking to them a lot over the last couple of days as some of them had to move from the north of the island to the south into the green zone.  Ash has been falling over the whole island and they're struggling to get water as reports have said.

    Another large explosion st 5am has knocked the islands power out.
