Yes, the ash eruption (dark grey stuff) has stopped & what you see now (the white cloud) is mostly steam apparently.

Well if thats true, then a lot of ash is coming into view now!

Lots of dark grey/black in the mix now.

This plume looks better than the last one.

EDIT: OMG looks amazing now!

Im fascinated by the person on horse-back, who keeps riding too and fro. Certainly have got a ringside seat.

Amazing stuff!

Any idea how far those buildings would be from the volcano?

Regards,

Tom.

There is some discussion as to whether that the grey cloud running parallel to the ground on the right of the image is a pyroclastic flow.

I think this is reporting the fresh eruption.

If it was in English, I might care. :D

Sure this is live? It's daylight despite sunset being around 9pm in Reykjavik today. Admittedly it takes forever to get dark in Iceland (the sun seems to just roll along the horizon for ages) but does seem much lighter than I'd expect. Perhaps it's delayed by 30-40 mins which would seem about right.

My browser (Chrome) translates it automatically but even then I can't make a lot of it out!

Certainly starting to get dark there now. At least the clouds that are moving in stayed away long enough for good show. May get some good lightning once it gets dark if this carries on.

Try refreshing the page as mine is now showing lights on that weren't there earlier so definitely live. So far north the loss of light is more gradual than here I think.
