I take back what i said yesterday. Today really felt awful and very unlike the middle of April. The strong wind and lack of sunshine made it feel very unpleasant.

I think I got lucky again in Norwich today- there was a lot of low cloud around this morning, but it burnt off at around lunchtime and the afternoon and evening were sunny. A bit of a cold wind, but still, having the sun out makes a lot of difference.

The phenomenon is certainly noticeable today on the satellite picture - cloud all the way down the east side of the Pennines with a bullet extending from the Wash right into the heart of the Midlands.

If you're missing the sunshine (not me :drinks:), just be glad it's not happening in summer.
