UK Outlook for Saturday 15 May 2010 to Saturday 29 May 2010:

For this period there is likely to be a gradual change from the recent colder than average northerly or northeasterly type to a less cold, but mostly cyclonic type. Temperatures are expected to be near to a little below average, with winds often light and variable in direction. Although there will no doubt be some drier interludes, this indicates the liklihood of above average rainfall totals during the period for Scotland, southwest and eastern England, and generally average rainfall in other areas. Sunshine may well be below average in the north and east of Britain, and near average elsewhere.

UK Outlook for Saturday 12 Jun 2010 to Saturday 26 Jun 2010:

It is likely to remain unsettled at first with showery rain for much of the country. There should then be a trend towards higher pressure giving drier and brighter conditions. Many areas should see a good deal of sunshine and warm to very warm temperatures. Southern and western parts may see more in the way of rainfall with the possibility of some thundery weather, whilst northern and eastern regions should remain drier.
