A cold start with quite a white frost to start the day, then a brief sleet/snow/hail shower at about 10am which began to settle in a few places on the patchy frost still around. This soon melted and the rest of the day was mainly dry with sunny intervals and a few mainly light or brief rain/sleet or hail showers. Temp falling but some cloud cover and a few light showers still around stopping this happening too quickly.

A dry morning with sunny periods. Cu and cb developed during the afternoon bringing a few short showers of small and soft hail and also snow. The last of these, around 1615 was a moderate snow shower which put down another 1cm of snow and filled in all the gaps where thawing had occurred during the day. This morning's snow cover was reduced to about 70% by mid-afternoon but the snow cover is now 99%.

Clear spells and frosty last night.

A surprise inch covering of snow this morning brought about by a prolonged and heavy shower from 08-0900.

Sunny intervals and occasional wintry showers this afternoon, with a further dusting of wet snow teatime (this morning's had thawed).

Largely clear and frosty this evening, we are missing the heavy snow showers affecting the Tregaron area to our NE.
