Somewhat unexpected- not only is it snowing in Norwich, there is a dusting lying on the fields around UEA.

Snowed on and off today between 2-6pm, totally unexpected, and between 5-6pm there was some big flakes of snow falling, but none of it settled due it being too intermittent

Moderate snow showers early this morning have given a complete cover of about 1cm, although I haven't been out yet to measure it.

Edit; more than I thought, average depth is 2.5cm

Approx 5cm of snow overnight which followed on from heavy rain about 1am, flakes were pretty large & began to stick to the ground, which was pretty saturated, so not bad going.

Storm Animal - Looks like its been some winter up there.

I was up in Northumberland today and the Cheviot Hills looked to have a lot of snow on them with pretty much total coverage above 400m. The snow hasn't really left the tops since mid December.

We had a moderate fall of snow last night here, but this morning is blue skies with a bit of broken cloud, the Temp is currently 2deg c .

Nice to see the sun like this after quite a few days of heavy cloud cover making it dull and dreary.

It has been snowing lightly on and off all day, but it is really coming down heavy now though.
