A cloudy quiet day with no weather to speak of whatsoever. We escaped a frost thanks to the high level cloud overnight. We also escaped any fog, the cloud stayed fairly high, so it didn't feel too dull.

Average temps and with no wind it felt rather pleasant.

But its all a far cry from the excitement of the past month, we seem stuck in a bit if a quiet rut, kind of looking forward to the heavy rain due later on Thursday and the stronger winds to boot, can't believe I'm saying this but I wouldn't mind a hefty dose of rain and wind (just for a little bit.. mind..).

After a relatively normal winters day today we have a quite calm evening with overcast skies.

Not too mild and not too cold, just quite pleasant, and after a 5 cm dusting of snow the snow piles

have grown very much. 2 metres just outside my house!
