We are having some quite heavy snow here which is a complete suprise. Its started to settle on the grass and fences bt seems very wet, don't think we will manage a covering but you never know.

I know what you mean, I've been threatening to watch some of the snooker, but because of this wintry weather, I've not had the chance. I'm not complaining though :D

Anyway back to the weather and light snow here again now, and it should last a little while according to the radar.

Well well well, moderate wet snow here, about 1/2cm on the ground lol

Using RainToday? radar back in noob-won't-pay mode shows it won't last much longer.

Very slight dusting here now which is great to see even though its nothing compared to what we have had. Still snowing here but not for much longer looking at the radar. Current temp 0.6 with a dew of -0.4drinks.gif

Just about stopped here too, the temperature as falled to 0.5 which is the coldest its been for nearly a week believe it or not. Really hope next week delivers for us again, I was getting use to the snow on the ground. Mr Hudson seemed quite confident, hope hes not jinxed it.whistling.gif

About 1cm of fresh snow, which is nice to see. Still snowing and has gained in intensity over last 10 minutes and now a little above light snow, I doubt the roads will be too much of an issue tomorrow.

Just got in from walking the dog, everywhere has a new layer of 2-3 cms. Village is completely quiet, no cars moving, no-one around, just a deep hush. What really strikes you as you walk around now is the sheer volume of snow, piled up at the roadsides, thick blanket on every garden, collected on every surface, every bush and every tree branch, and a veritable small army of snowmen of varying sizes ! I have tried to capture it on camera but to be honest it just doesn't convey the extent, on the one hand quite amazing, but on the other bl**dy inconvenient !!!

Looking at the radar, it seems that this snowfall could continue for quite a while. Sadly, there doesn't appear to be anything particularly heavy on the horizon, but I suppose it's much better than what we had lastnight
