From forecast though it seems to intensify in the night, while looking at the radar does not look like that... What do you think guys? I am talking for Bristol area...

I can see what you mean so I guess it must be other factors that will intensify what is already there. Otherwise it looks like just light snow from now onwards.

someone should ask on his blog why he doesnt post on netweather anymore!

I would imagine that as local weather forecaster he has been told not to by his superiors. I think my bosses wouldn't be too impressed with me if I started posting league tables, information which isn't for public consumption...if you know what I mean. So posting on his blog may get him into trouble.

This is pure guesswork on my part of course, maybe he is just busy, what with the weather 'n all. :lazy:

Satellite died again. Oh well.

Florence (as in the Machines) on Zane Lowe, that'll do.

Still snowing but getting very light now. Still light snow is better than light rain.

Fingers crossed... no more looking outside!

As I said before; I ordered rain. Someone up there loves me. Now I just need someone to come and cook for me! :lazy:

In all seriousness though, I am not so sure of our escape anymore looking at the radar images.

Beans on Toast OK??

Well you are just on the right side of marginal in Wimborne, still has a sleety feel to it in Canford Heath and therefore not settling.

Hopeing the temp will drop a little more.

Going to stay up till about midnight, hope to see settling snow by then...

A damp squib here so far, alternating between sleet and drizzle - a load of tosh! Am praying it gets better later on.

Same here at Winfrith. Where's the 8 inches of snow on the Purbeck Hills that Alexis Rogers promised

us yesterday on South Today, thats what I want to know. Thats One extreme and two severe weather warnings that

have gone completely wrong here inside a week.

yeovil ?

Don't worry Alex, I feel your pain. I have never seen ppn avoid Somerset so obviously ever (even though it seems to miss Yeovil on a regular basis!) :whistling::good::good: :o :o

How can it have completely skipped a county (apart form Mullender at 280m)? There isn't even sleet here, just rain - nothing, nada, silch....! Well, ok, maybe sleet ish ppn but it looks like rain!!!! :(

This radar watching is hard work tonight trying to guage which bit of heavy ppn might hit me next! It just seems to build out of no where rather than come in from a direction you can see... rolleyes.gif do i look south or west ect. dry.gif
