Wow just looked out of the window here in East Dorset and the Roads and pavements are going white despite the flakes arent as big as last week yet!

It appears to be moving along the southern counties still at say 10-20mph.

It's in the north that the ppn seems to have stopped at the moment - but the ppn seems to be feeding up from the south southeast so it'll probably get a shove sooner rather than later.

Thanks :whistling:

Strange that there is a hole in ppn over south west somerset/taunton area. I thought south west somerset and exmoor was going to get most but intense ppn seems to be sitting further east into wiltshire? dry.gif

Still snowing in a horizontal position. I can't quite tell how much has fallen because of that but I would say it is about a cm.

The PPN seems to be turning more to rain over Cornwall (at least on the radar) what was pink is now light blue.

This does not bode well. Still felt very cold out a min ago.

Fingers crossed.

Oh, still snowing. 7hrs+ now whistling.gif

Moderate snowfall now. As you say, it is settling on the grass, roads and pavements. How beautiful is that? :drinks:

I'd of thought it would of been snow up there, but there we go. Not sure what its going to do, seems odd with near on a foot of snow on the ground (for the second year running) that it will be raining later, but such is the way of this country
